Darren Newman has nearly twenty years specializing in auditing and accounting services within the Cooperative and Condominium industry. As managing partner, he is responsible for the operations of our audit practice. Darren has extensive experience in assisting our cooperative and condominium clients with developing their financial short and long-term strategies, operating and capital budgets and investing policies and decisions. He has significant experience helping newer condominiums tackle the many challenges of establishing financial stability as well as developing strategies for financing physical structure issues and resident manager’s units.
Darren has presented workshops for building treasurers and board members at the Annual Housing Conference sponsored by the Council of New York Cooperatives & Condominiums.
Darren is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a B.S. degree from Syracuse University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA).
